Jeilymar Nazario Rodriguez
Hello Queen ✨
My name is Jeily (JAY-lee) -- I am a Trauma-Release and Business Coach for Diverse High-Achieving Executive & Entrepreneurial Women who want to release their inner blocks and shine from the inside out without overthinking their way to Freedom within.
I was born in the beautiful Caribbean island of Puerto Rico to a teenage girl in a rural neighborhood. By the time I was seven, my mother had earned a bachelor’s degree in physics and a master’s in mechanical engineering (talk about a high-achiever!). She was the first in our lineage to do so. And through her mission to provide me with the opportunities she could only dream of having as a child, she instilled in me the power of education and self determination.
When I was around ten years old, my single mother and I moved to the mainland United States. Every time I visited Puerto Rico past that, I recognized the intense contrast of the two worlds in addition to the tremendous difference access to information--through technology / the internet--makes in the evolution of one’s consciousness and therefore the collective consciousness. The contrast rings deep in my heart and is a constant reminder to give gratitude towards the blessings in my life.
For over 15 years, I have been obsessed with Human Behavior. When I was just 11 years old, you’d find me binge watching behavior-based shows like Criminal Minds and NCIS, or reading a murder mystery book. The single curiosity that’s been a thread for my entire life has always been “Why do we do the things we do?”
After this 5 year Forensic Psychology obsession, a woman mentor once guided me to lean into a career that wouldn’t be so jarring for my soft, tender heart I’ve always had. After living in “Mini Silicon Valley” (Seattle!) with an Engineer and Physicist of a mother, I decided to lean into what felt like the next most helpful and interesting combination of Psychology, which was in the Technology world--rather than Forensics. I then went on to study for Bachelor of Science in Psychology while I self-taught and attended courses / bootcamps in Computer Science.
After University, I went on to interview around 30 UX Researchers in some of the top Tech Companies including Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Uber, to hear their perspective of how they went about finding their first UX Job. Every single one of them told me I needed to go into a masters program--except one woman, who was a Senior UX Researcher at Microsoft. She said “you’re interested in human psychology, computer science, and design? You don’t need to pick just one! You can find a company that’s less than 500 employees and they’ll WANT you to do all of those things!” (and they did.)
She saw me. I listened to her.
And then, I got my dream job as a UX Researcher!
I had the DREAM team, in the DREAM role, in the DREAM city, in the DREAM company, with the DREAM amount of freedom in the tech world--as a 21 year old woman. It should’ve been perfect, except--my last day was just 2 years later, on my 23rd birthday.
What happened in between was something that was entirely unexpected. In January of 2018, after a series of synchronistic events, I attended an online workshop which described the concepts of presence and energetic relationships. The next day at the aforementioned Dream Job, I sat in deep presence with myself and my team for the first time in my life. This meant no racing thoughts, no autopilot, and no unconscious patterns. Just the present moment. It was like being calm amidst the hurricane of the chaotic-tech-corporate-work environment. And that night when I went home, I came home...to myself.
I continued with that presence--and this energy I was able to maintain opened me up to receive an intervention with the Divine Spirit, which means: a voice spoke through me the truths of the Universe. This was an 8-hour experience where this voice shared with me knowledge from Creation, the past, humanity--all related to how the world works. This felt like a feeling of fullness in my heart, an involuntary full-body vibration, reverence for the past, and DEEP deep trust for whatever life was to bring.
After this experience, I knew I wanted to help others in this way, but knew I needed some form of mastery in this realm before starting. So I did my homework and went into yet another deep dive, which now includes 4 years of studies in Somatic Exploration, Energy Work, Subconscious Reprogramming, Trauma-Informed Coaching, and so much more!
I could no longer hide from the hard, honest truth that my dream job wasn’t my “dream” after all. I always knew I was going to be an entrepreneur (with multiple businesses!), and in my intervention, I was led to understand that my current work environment simply wasn’t conducive to that. I took all of my previous skills, and made the hard but authentic choice to endeavor on my own into starting a business.
I went on to start my first project - Reduce Rx, a medical technology that supports practitioners in tapering patients off of opioid medication - and now, I’ve chosen to pull all of my knowledge, experience, and expertise together to create:
Visionary Strategies, a coaching and consulting company that helps Diverse High-Achieving Executive & Entrepreneurial Women feel at-ease and move through their professional + personal lives with grace.
